Maher is a comedian and entertainer who's job it is to say controversial stuff to get viewers. He's not a news reporter, nor political expert. These types of statements gets people upset and talking about him. He succeeded as evidenced here.
I'm not upset. I'm glad he said it in a political sense, it only helps Republicans.
I think many liberals are like Maher. They claim to be tolerant, civil, just, intelligent people but they are hostile stupid people.

I like to think that I dont wish death on anybody. And for the most part, it is true. But if I am being honest with myself, if I heard Farrakhan or David Duke died, it would bring a smile to my face.
I dont agree with him at all on this, but if that is the way he see’s the Koch’s I guess I cant really call him out for it.
