A comment like that from any right leaning person would get that person fired immediately.
People on the left can say whatever vile things as they please without any consequences. It’s called freedom of speech.
A company firing a person for saying something like that it isn't a violation of freedom of speech.
What's crazy is Koch and Maher were aligned on most issues outside of taxes.
Koch was pro abortion, pro open borders, anti-Trump, etc.
A lot of liberals try to pretend like they only hate social conservative but their hatred of Koch shows they hate fiscal conservatives as much if not more.
I suppose Maher figures he has nothing to lose and everything to gain in ratings..and deep down inside probably suspects he'll get the same treatment when his own death is announced.

McCain arranged his own funeral to be a Trump hate fest.
Trump's never mocked McCain for cancer or said he was glad McCain died.

Maher is a comedian and entertainer who's job it is to say controversial stuff to get viewers. He's not a news reporter, nor political expert. These types of statements gets people upset and talking about him. He succeeded as evidenced here.
The Koch brothers have done more damage to our planet than almost anyone else. If his death helps reverse that damage then so be it.
