But unfortunately this story is gonna end on a quick buck while destroying an important ecosystem.
And it not fair for future generations.
This is how I see it. Many people don't care about the future. Some people only care about right here and now. And some people view the indigenous peoples (at least Bolsonaro seems to) as standing in the way of progress. He likely knows he's tearing their home down, and doesn't care. He probably wants to see them just go away.

All some people care about is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, at all costs.

She loves what she does.
I've studied geography. I feel like the more one knows about things like geography, biology, etc, the more they will understand the scope of the Amazon fires and how this affects Brazil's indigenous peoples. I think people such as your sister understand the situation much better than the blowhards on FOX News or in Hollywood. The educated who are studying seem more dedicated.

This is where the indigenous people might want to use more modern weapons (firearms) if they have not already!

So-called tribal leaders definitely hold positions of power. Nothing good comes out of glorifying these old men (which is what tribal leaders pretty much always are).

The Amazon will be fine.

Some people live in a perpetual state of anxiety.

Think there is a connection between this lawsuit and what is happening now ?

Still buying into the lies eh? You're too easy, just throw some cheap unfounded slogans around along with some 20-30 year old pictures not even from the Amazon and you're hooked. There's a term for that...I think it's called useful something or another...Yeah, idiot, useful idiot is the term that was used by the Commies back in the day. Boy were they right...

Of course it is. Since the biggest offenders of tearing the Amazon up were Socialists who were against capitalism and big oil, there was no outrage. Now that a Capitalist is down there it's all of a sudden a big deal.
