You called it. They have zero integrity....which is to say it’s orders of magnitude easier to ignore reality when one is so disconnected from the truth.

Yes.
My particular viewpoint is that voters choose the President, not "adults". So polls that report what "adults" think or "registered voters" think are of no value except to placate NeverTrumpers.

Poll of likely voters reports 50% approval for Trump.

Yes, and as I also pointed out before, that same poll that you like nevertheless has Trump losing to Biden.

Illegals can't, but felons can, and your state is one of the places where felons who haved served their sentences can have their voting rights restored:

For every illegal coming in, you will get a bunch of anchor babies who will vote Dem when they reach voting age.

I won't give links...knowing that you are good at using "the google".....

Independents are 42%, Dems approx 30% and GOP closer to 26%

Another headline could be "only 1/4 of Americans like the GOP". Try that.

That would be cruel to make the OP face a grim reality like that. It's much easier for such people and assorted fellow travelers to float along in a made-up cloud of ersatz double-talk, such as he described in his post.

Frankly, after what this administration seems bound to do to our country, that number of republicans will likely continue shrinking, as it has for decades. The subject of republicans gets me to thinking about all those dinosaurs, in the year before the meteor struck.

For all those who abhor Trump, look at the bright side. He may in the end, be a great cleansing agent, who was instrumental in bringing right-wing elements down to their proper size, with no more than a few vestiges of remaining power. The enlightenment that has taken place on the West Coast and in some other states, is due to continue sweeping into new areas, ironically, spurred on by the efforts of Trump to dumb us down.

Can't the same be said of those who follow Trump without question and defend or make excuses for his behavior? No matter what this president has done there are those who will vote for him even if he did "walk down 5th ave. and shoot someone". They are the ones who have ruined the republican party. They cannot be trusted to have the people's interests and do everything to benefit themselves.

Most people are looking for a mature adult who won`t spit on our POWs or mock a handicapped man. Biden won`t be an inspiration to terrorists and he won`t roll over for the gun & criminal lobby. It`s highly unlikely that he`ll have the world`s diplomats laughing at him at the UN. See the difference?
