So you think if a country has a unilateral trade agreement with another country, that country is not allowed to have any other trade arrangements with any other countries.

Wow.

Wow.
You're celebrating a trade deal between the U.S. and Japan as if this is a monumental event. Trump has set a very low bar for his loyalists.

Great news, I love Japan and their people, such an amazing and honorable society.

Hopefully we can say the same about China soon once both sides lower their shields and start talking again.

I think you mean bilateral. And while much is not out about it yet what has been reported is Japan will lower tariffs of imported beef and pork to the same level it already agreed to in the TPP pact. So Trump basically got what Obama had already got.

Yep. Bilateral. You are right. I stand corrected. That is what I meant.

Your defeatist and anti-worker/anti-jobs attitude is alarming

The thing is if you include Vietnam and other dirt poor countries in the deal you'll have the same issue you had with China. That is there is no labor protections in those countries, no health standards for workers or goods, no reason to believe IP won't be stolen. Japan is civilized, it's much better to deal with other civilized nations

Thank god we have a brilliant businessman at the negotiating table instead of that previous idiot that couldn’t run a Kool aid stand!
