Especially when the government is running up such a massive debt. Pretty soon we'll be spending more on paying off the interest on the debt than the size of the debt itself.

Debts don't matter? Ah, yes they do.

Lol.

Ok.

Let's review basic math for you.

If you have absolutely zero revenue coming in, how do you incur debt?

I'll give you an hour or so to do the most badic math there is.

Blaming Obama for inheriting Bush's deficits. Let me guess, you going to blame Obama for the great recession also?

Obama did wonders for the deficit after taking office

That is the entire plan. GOP control has been seen in NC and Kansas. Cut taxes for the top1%. Everyone else pays the same or more. Then raise every tax and fee you can come up with.

Then your local taxes go up as state funds are no longer available. Only the GOP can lie to the population and people will continue to vote against their best interests.

It went up 20% 2016 vs 2012, which were both post Recession years.

I do not think Trump can hold a couple of thoughts in his mind at the same time, he is not a strategizer. Most likely his handlers expose Trump to this or that Fox piece and verbal diarrhea master cannot control himself and starts sharing his thoughts on the matter right away with that rambling style of an ignorant, semi-senile aging bully.

Good news for the Dems. The campaign ads just wrote themselves.

People are planning their entire futures around SS. This would ensure Trump loses and probably the GOP in Congress too.

Those Republicans seem to forget that not everyone gets the pension and retirement benefits that they do. And that is an idea. Why don't we cut the pensions of those in Congress before cutting SS?
