You're all out WRONG. No possible way is funding education the same as slavery. Good lord, just what the heck possesses you that forces you to believe funding education is the same as slavery? The alternative to no education for everybody is sheer ignorance.

there's lots of poor people all over the world who have the same motivation to climb out of poverty as they do in China and India however without socialized education they don't have the opportunity to do so

The fact is a socialized education system allows more people access to high-quality education
I never said there weren't private schools in Asia and I never said all Asians are smart
If you look across the aggregate you will see that countries with socialized education simply produce more educated people
That's why America is getting its ass kicked in the job market because only our wealthy and privileged few can afford access to the best education's in this country
There are probably thousands of geniuses in the trailer parks and ghettos of our nation who are too busy changing tires at Walmart and taking care of their children to have an opportunity at bettering themselves through a private for-profit education system

I went into the Navy and went to college after on the GI Bill. Later my work paid for my MBA at a top 25 B-school.
Lots of non-privileged get into great schools.
The US system is great because there are low barriers to getting a higher education, and many paths to one.
There are a lot of people that are denied the opportunity to serve in the military based solely on their physical size or if they've been accused of a crime or not
Rich Kids commit crimes too but their dads pay lawyers that have their records expunged
If you're 5' 10" 250 lb of solid muscle and have been accused of a crime you're never going to get into the military under any circumstances
I know from 1st hand experience
Even though I scored in officer class on the ASVAB I was denied entry because of my BMI
Pretty comical to suggest someone that was the starting heavyweight wrestler on their high school team is too overweight for military service
There are a lot of people that are denied the opportunity to serve in the military based solely on their physical size or if they've been accused of a crime or not
I am sure there have been lots of people denied, so they must pursue other paths like merit, scholarships, even taking out loans.

Incorrect. If you exceed the BMI, they do the waist to neck measurement. Even someone overweight can pass it, let alone someone with 14% BF.

The US gives more than a fair shot, it gives an advantage to those who take a little effort to get it. This is why we stand at around 35% of those in the US has a bachelor's, while only 5% or so in China.

The first one is lifeexplorer's moments. Most of his comments are explain x, define y, give me an example of z. It is bordering on trolling. But I want to address this idea that taxing is theft. We live in a society that has grown to take many things for granted, services that are payer through taxes. It is anti-social to try to go backwards instead of forward. The irony is that these are the type of people less likely to see paying for the time a person works, instead of getting paid for what he produces is in fact slavery [essentially every person who doesn't own a business is a slave]. Paying taxes is not.
The other point has to do with immigration (both legal and illegal). I just heard a comment by an intellectual from Argentina that told it how it is. I'm just gonna translate it as best as I can: The purpose of mass migration is not so foreigners can be treated as nationals, but to get citizens used to be treated as foreigners. That is lower wages, less benefits, without complaining.
To answer OP question. The answer is not to establish government run education, from the hands of for profit education system. The answer is an independent system not manipulated from neither of those interests.
Exactly, mass migration is intended to lower the quality of life and standard of living of citizens and make them divided and weak and as foreigners in their own country.
