Why don't you post the quote or video of what you are talking about in it's entirety? Because what I heard was, there was fine people on both sides. That includes the people who were protesting the removal of a historical statue, and the counter protesters that were there to harass them. There were some white supremacist in the Charlottesville crowd, but they did not make up that crowd in it's entirety. Being that the protest took place in the deep south, you would almost certainly expect a higher presence of white supremacists though, let's be realistic.

Do you feel that anyone who opposes the removal of a statue of Robert E Lee is a bad person? Because that would include millions of hard working Americans who have contributed or continue to contribute great things to this country. I know many, many proud military veterans who deeply opposed the removal of that statue. Lee was a talented military man, first and foremost, and that's how most remember him.

I have been looking for something like this. The narrator of the above video is CNN political analyst Steve Cortes. It's longer than necessary, but well done, complete with amusing cartoons. You can get the gist by watching from @1:35 through about 2:45. Or by reading the below snippet. Quoting Cortes:

Please post a link to this thread whenever a poster tries to spread this provably inaccurate meme about Trump and Charlottesville. Or when Joe Biden uses the meme/lie in one of his ads, as he already has.
So the good people were the ones walking with the group shouting "Jews will not replace us?"

it's really very simple. The lemmings, on the left in this instance, have been fed a tale that Trump said "some of the neo-nazis were very fine people" by the media - and their politicians. And now, that they have perhaps finally bothered to stop and LEARN about the entirety of the situation, choose to cling to any shred that possibly vilifies Trump.

Back then, it started with "how come you didn't say anything for 24 hours????!?!?!??" - then you see the Tweet I quoted, and they produced statements from him. "Oh, well you didn't condemn white nationalism", so he did AGAIN.

Now, they're clinging to "oh, well see if you can't prove a single person at the Friday night protest, where only tiki-torch bearing condemnees were shown on the TV screen, was a peaceful protester, then OBVIOUSLY Trump was referring to the Nazis being fine people".

It's sick.

No, those were some of the people that President Trump condemned multiple times live on TV, in print media and on social media. Those are the condemnations that people like you continue to ignore and purposely twist over and over again in hopes that you can continue pushing the lie being addressed in this thread.

Here's another example of that sickness in plain view.

nope. no one ever said they were, except some of their own in the group or identified "White Nationalists" or Neo-Nazi types.

But 99.99% of the American population, including your POTUS, have condemned those folks. Not sure if Ilhan is in the 0.01 or not

It seems like there would be two groups in that gathering: people chanting "Jews will not replace us," and people walking with the people chanting "Jews will not replace us.". What am I missing? Are the people who walked with the group chanting "Jews will not replace us" the good ones?

Repeating a lie doesn't make it true. Why don't you point out to everyone here exactly what he said.
