The Simpsons comes from the same right media media corporation as Fox News. Unless you can prove Homer is a liberal...

The reality is the U.S. has huge oil, and natural gas fields on and offshore, and finding more all the time. Energy is a large strength for us, and finally we have a President who recognizes that, and is attempting to allow the use of accessible, inexpensive energy.

Maybe it is sinking in the world runs on fossil fuel, and will for the foreseeable future, and beyond.

The President doesn’t realize that we should pull out of the Middle East. In fact, he wants another war there. So much for thinking “we produce enough fossil fuels here”.

Why do you say he wants another war?

Fox ENTERTAINMENT is owned by far left progressive DISNEY. Fox News is a separate entity. Maybe educate yourself?

We are the leading producer of Oil in the world, and a net exporter of energy. We want stability in world oil markets as world energy pricing and U.S. energy pricing is dependent upon uninterrupted supply in the Middle East, and elsewhere.

It is in our best interest to not have wars, but do things to enhance stability in the Mid East. Trump knows this, obviously Obama didn't as he increased instability there through more wars.

The episode mentioned first aired in 2005. If you can do the math, this is way before the sale to Disney.

It happened so long ago I forget exactly when. Around 2005. The fracking is part of M. King Hubbert's prediction: more expensive processes are used for oil that wasn't worth the effort before. The next price spike and fuel shortage is due in a few years.
