I think you're referring to the subpoena submitted under the 1917 espionage act for state department contractor Stephen Jin-Woo Kim communicating North Korean nuclear test plans to James Rosen? So you're suggesting that Obama should not have investigated the theft of state intelligence under the espionage act? Hmm. Well Trump has already exceeded Obama's record of prosecuting journalistic sources under the espionage act. Pot, kettle, black. This is a new tactic.
