So many comments by Millennials seem to be based on poor education. I see this all the time with grand kid and grand kid's friends (almost 20 years old and highschool grads)

Simple things cannot be answered because of ignorance

Things lik,e what is Socialism? What is Capitalism? What is the Bill of Rights?

When I try to answer, "I don't know anything!"
Millenials are the best educated generation in history. I have a lot of faith in this generation to turn things around. My generation (boomers) tried but we were too messed up on drugs and scarred by Vietnam. The next generation (GenX) seemed to mostly keep their head down and go along. The Millenials are starting to make their voice heard, and our country will be better for it.

The millennials are misinformed because they believe the fake news and lies told by the very bias media,,,Just seeing it on a so called news channel DOES NOT MAKE IT TRUE.

Wow. No.

Millennials. The most dumbed-down generation, to date, in US history.

"U.S. millennials performed horribly.

That might even be an understatement, given the extent of the American shortcomings. No matter how you sliced the data – by class, by race, by education – young Americans were laggards compared to their international peers. In every subject, U.S. millennials ranked at the bottom or very close to it, according to a new study by testing company ETS.

“We were taken aback,” said ETS researcher Anita Sands. “We tend to think millennials are really savvy in this area. But that’s not what we are seeing.”

...This exam [OECD's PIAAC], given in 23 countries, assessed the thinking abilities and workplace skills of adults. It focused on literacy, math and technological problem-solving. The goal was to figure out how prepared people are to work in a complex, modern society. And U.S. millennials performed horribly...

But surely America’s brightest were on top?

Nope.

U.S. millennials with master’s degrees and doctorates did better than their peers in only three countries, Ireland, Poland and Spain...The ETS study noted that a decade ago the skill level of American adults was judged mediocre. “Now it is below even that.” So Millennials are falling even further behind.

Top-scoring US millennials – the 90th percentile on the PIAAC test – were at the bottom internationally, ranking higher only than their peers in Spain. The bottom scorers (10th percentile) also lagged behind their peers."

The majority of the children and young adults now are at a huge disadvantage regardless of their education. The degradation all started when we changed how we raised our children. It's something I've thought for years and just recently was turned on to professor Jonathan Haidt and from the little I've read and heard from him, it is a real dilemma in today's society and reinforces what I've thought . I heard a TED talk the other day by Mike Rowe and he talked about how it's effecting the workplace, and I see exact parallels from what he talked about and in my office.
Trophy's for all, not taking score in sports, negotiating with children instead of enforcing rules, coddling them to the point where they haven't developed the skill sets to cope with real life. It has hurt them. We are seeing the results now in how society has become.

Plus, they are constantly indoctrinated by PC, SJW, Progressive thought in their Education, Media, Social Media, and Entertainment. It is pervasive, and scary.

That is one of the main things that professor said and has statistics showing when things started to change and the timeline is exactly when social media and cellphones became popular with 7-12 year olds. Instead of kids actually socializing together ,face to face, developing character, they now are on social media.

OK, what does that have to do with the price of tea in china. In the US comparing across US population they have the highest educational attainment, they might be dumber than their chinese counterpart, but still more prepared than a boomer with a HS diploma.
