The difference? Obama never said anything bigoted. Obama never personally attacked his political opponents. Obama never said disparaging things about women, immigrants, people of color, veterans, or members of the media. By the way, I voted for Romney in 2012 and Johnson in 2016 so I never agreed with either of them on policy. But at least Obama can form a sentence without making a fool out of himself or using bigoted rhetoric.
Yeah, never said anything bigoted like his Pastor of 20 years, Jerimiah Wright, or his hidden Confidant, the White and Jewish hating Louis Farrakhan. Yeah that Obama never said anything disparaging about "women, immigrants, people of color" just held those views about White and Jewish people by the company he kept. Really doesn't matter what Trump says or does Obama owns his own history regardless of the unwavering support of his followers. I can easily admit that Trump is a bumbling fool, just as easily as I can see Obama's destructive history as president.

A sudden surge in Trumpling whataboutism in this thread.

Clearly, they're upset.

Destroying entire countries compared to Drone strikes? The Dem defense of anything Obama is underwhelming. Really doesn't matter how many countries he destroyed, Dems probably think he deserved that peace prize. One thing about Obama, for a guy with a Muslim name he has killed more Muslims in the Middle East than Trump ever will

On this point, Obama will be remembered as the President who started universal healthcare in the US, long overdue. The cat is out of the bag and we will not go back to what existed before and Obama brought about the advancement. The only criticism will be that, through compromise and the foot-dragging influence of lobbies, it did not go far enough. No one will moan or whine about the relatively few folks who ended up paying more, or even remember them. They will remember the increased numbers of people having healthcare and the bad-ol'-days when people went untreated or lost their homes because of crushing , uninsured medical bills.

On the shorter term, everyone will remember that Trump claimed to have a better (the best!) healthcare plan to replace the Affordable Care Act. I suspect that he does have a pretty good healthcare plan for himself. That's as far as his concern goes on most issues.

It is interesting how many Trumpers' hearts bleed on this thread for Libya and Syria but would do all they can to block any sort of refugee status for people fleeing tyrants and military oppression in those or other countries. (Brown people need not apply.) You never hear them express any concern about Trump's pals attacking Yemen and the starving children there.
