WASHINGTON (AP) ó The House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed former White House staff secretary Rob Porter as part of its investigation into President Donald Trump's conduct in office and whether he should be impeached.

The subpoena demands that Porter testify at a Sept. 17 hearing. The committee previously subpoenaed former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and former White House aide Rick Dearborn to appear that same day. All three men are featured prominently in former special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russia and Trump's possible obstruction of justice.

And cue in the Trump supporters in 5. 4. 3. 2. 1.

I wish they would give up on trying to impeach him odds are itís just ups his odds of getting elected again. Let him serve out his term first.

At least GWB had the good graces not to harp on Gore after he (Gore) lost (however arguably). Trump is simply showing the worst stereotypes of the crude, baboonish (pseudo)manbro culture types by simply rubbing it in. I was raised to believe rubbing in defeats is poor sportsmanship at best. I guess lots of people (even into middle age) simply didn't get the message.

The problem is, Donald Trump is just so damn dumb that he has no control over himself. He has no off button, no common sense, and certainly no ethics.

When he dies, he really needs to donate his brain to science.

Serious question. Do you actually believe that this is going to go anywhere? Will this make any more of a difference than the previous thousand daily bombshells?

They may show up for the dog & pony show. My bet is they stay home and do some chores.

Talk about a study in contrasts: Einstein's brain vs Trump's brain. If he does donate it, then there's gotta be a dozen books in that comparison waiting to be written - especially with advances in scanning technology as of late. Trump might just be egotistical enough to do it, too. In which case it'd be the only thing he put his brain to good use for.

Then why can't you left wingers beat him on anything?
