No matter which political side you are on, it's a fact that trees are extremely beneficial to the earth. Why people don't have a problem with them being obliterated is beyond me. It seems like so much of society has no problem with the destruction of the very nature that sustains us. It's very sad and disturbing.

LMAO..Not a word about the lies being spread??? No mention of displeasure that the very people you look up to are flat out lying to you? Pictures not even from there and some are 20-30 years old? THIS is exactly how people become brainwashed.

Tropical rainforests have wet seasons and dry seasons.
Then, they want to prattle on about "think of the children". What a joke.

Hey, as long as y'all can get 99 cent burgers, who cares about the native tribes, the trees and all of that stuff?

Funny how people talk about China of India polluting....how bad bad bad it is, but then they approve of the world being clear cut for cheaper beef so they can fatten themselves up more and more.

Sadly, that is the root cause of all of this. Beef.

What about the 20-30 year old photos to amp up the hype?

It's amazing how fast a propaganda phrase like that can spread. "Lungs of the world" now produces 1.1 million hits on Google News. I just saw it on NHK News in Japanese a minute ago (chikyu no hae)
