I can follow just fine. The difference is, you think that the rambling word salad is articulate.

Trump is not articulate in the normal sense of that word. This usually means that speech is logically constructed, sentences have a normal subject/predicate structure, and so on.

Trump jibber-jabbers, throws out sentence fragments, repeats statements again and again as if this makes them more believable. More like a preacher or a huckster. All about firing up the base, doesn't matter if the drivel he spews makes any sense or not.

Compare him to any other President in the last 50 years, he's not even in the same ballpark in terms of being "articulate".

Sorry, but I have to disagree. Read the following "fine people" transcript.

https://www.vox.com/2017/8/15/161540...harlottesville

Although I do think this shows that he is NOT the racist many people believe him to be, I don't think that he is as articulate as most people, and certainly not as articulate as most politicians or business leaders. The following shows his lack of vocabulary (at least when speaking extemporaneously) and his tendency to repeat himself over and over and over again -- which is a trait I share with him, btw!

Articulate people do not need a team of people to translate their words into what they "really mean".

Most things that Trump says are immediately followed by "what he meant" spin by his staff or his followers. If he can not get his meaning across he is far from articulate.

Whenever Trump is put into a situation where he has to interact and speak with people who are intelligent and articulate, he looks like a fish out of water, and he resorts to his usual going into attack mode to make himself look less stupid. If you look at any of the pre 2016 debates, he looks like Archie Bunker up there, and all he can do is throw up his usual nasty defenses to avoid having to debate in any meaningful way.

Donald Trump is like a brown pair of loafers worn at a tuxedo event. This is the man we send out to meet with other world leaders ?

Well, you know, that's just like, your opinion, man.

I report, you decide.
