Is this the thread where someone compares an idealized depiction of the past with the reality of today and concludes that - surprise, surprise - reality fails to compare well against the ideal?
I would propose that macho men do not care whether or not other men are "wussies."

Its funny, we never have these conversations amongst those that are highly athletic. Have been in the sports industry for years and not once have I ever heard the terms alpha, beta, macho or soyboy from anyone in that industry.
I really hate the so-called "man buns" (ponytail on a man, very short ponytail).
If the guy looks weak and has that man bun, i hate it twice as much. Theres a tv commercial for a phone and the guy with the manbun and weak personality, nods to the next person to give her a charge on her phone and he is so wussy, it makes me retch.
The thing people forget is that tv and movies are fake and entertainment. but nowadays some people are so triggered, they think its too violent. their one voice wants to make trouble for the hundreds of people who enjoy it.
