So according to your logic, if my kid is doing bad in school because he plays lot's of video games and yet my neighbors kid is doing well in school but is restricted from playing video games I should just accept the way things are and do nothing about my kids appetite for video games?
Now, I know that leftists like to mock prayer and those who pray, but do tell us what gun control measure either being pushed by Democrats or that have a prayer of passing would have prevented this shooting?
I'm catholic but prayers mean nothing. So yes, I roll my eyes at politicians who send their prayers.
Sure...let's get rid of the second. Confiscate all guns. Nobody needs to hunt anymore - you can buy everything you need at the Kroger. Pay no attention to what happened to the Jews in Nazi Germany.
Then, let's get rid of the third. I mean, when was the last time any soldier needed a place to stay?
Next, let's drop the fifth. This due process stuff is why we now have Kavenaugh on the Supreme Court, isn't it?
Finally, let's drop the first. At least that freedom of religion part. Everybody knows that all wars are fought over religion. Like John Lennon said, "Imagine".

Nobody said ban all guns, just follow Australia's example....Does one really need a semi-auto for hunting? Canadians have guns, for hunting, not protection...Australians have guns as well....
I'm not a democrat...Follow the example that Australia set years ago.
In 1996 Martin Bryant killed 35 people with his AR-15 and wounded 18 others.
Within just weeks of that tragedy, elected officials in each of Australia’s six states and two mainland territories—pressed forward by police chiefs across the continent and by the then-newly elected prime minister—banned semi-automatic and other military-style weapons across the country. The federal government of Australia prohibited their import, and lawmakers introduced a generous nationwide gun buyback program, As for mass killings, there were no more. Not one in the past 22 years.
Background checks prior to purchase. The Midland-Odessa shooter was barred from acquiring a firearm because he didn't pass the background check. He managed to get one anyway.
If that doesn't convince you of the uselessness of instant background checks, then you clearly don't have the necessary background to conduct a rational analysis of the issue.
If they shot terrorists on the spot like France now does- incidents would evaporate
