This thread should be retitled "Mass Shooters favorite choice of gun is the AR 15 rifle." That would be accurate. The person who started the thread literally just made it up. I tried to google the title, and only small handguns came up. I am a liberal and own a small 9mm handgun. That is all I need for protection, and I do not see where anyone from my political party is trying to take them away. The gun I have would be useless for a mass shooting, so there is no reason to.
Why...because it’s lightweight, very little kickback, and accurate. And yet libs want to take that right away from women to defend themselves.
BTW..The “AR” in “AR-15” rifle stands for ArmaLite rifle, after the company that developed it in the 1950s. “AR” does NOT stand for “assault rifle” or “automatic rifle.”

They want all Semi Auto firearms including your 9MM. Criminals using AR-15's account for a very, very small percentage of deaths. They have both a legitimate hunting and home defense use. They are the most popular rifle in the U.S. by far.
You can find an outlier to back up just about anything.
Doesn't change the validity of the statement.
Some people, including my wife just don't like the recoil of a shotgun.
And if they don't like shooting it, then they won't practice with it.
And we don't need untrained people using guns that they can't control.
