So after Trump alters a map of Hurricane Dorian's projected path to make it seem like he was correct. Twitter went crazy. Most are very funny. Trump is such a idiot to think that he could get away with altering a map.https://www.newsweek.com/sharpiegate...alabma-1457782
i don't get why he didn't just show one of the earlier prediction maps, like this one.
I'm surprised he didn't, as it would have helped his lies a lot more. That said, the map you posted was dated 8/29, and he tweeted on 9/4. The map you posted showed AL as a possible, but unlikely path. It showed the most likely path being pretty close to what it actually ended up being (maybe 100 miles off?).
But to your point, the people that lap up his divisive lies, who are looking for reasons to discredit truth so this guy can continue to tear down the fabric of our Nation would have lapped this up (even though it proves him wrong) as evidence of the "lying media" and "enemy of the people".
I try to stay positive, but this is rediculous. They guy misspoke, which is not a crime. Doubling down with lies to cover what may well have been an honest mistake, THAT is the problem. He ruins his own credibility, and then whines when people call him out on it.
That map was almost a week old when he tweeted it. I know you guys like to live in the past and all, but when he tweeted, ALL of the models were in agreement, and none of them showed AL as a path.
Again, maybe an honest mistake, but why not just admit it, rather than doubling down with lies. He, you, and anyone trying to defend this has no credibility. (It would have been a non-story if not for him, you and others making it one.)

Nope, from the same day his infamous tweet went out.
The National Weather Service lied too.
It clearly states on your own post, the image was from August 29! Seriously...
Yet, there it is... The paths indicated. Just like Trump had tweeted.
I learned to add & subtract.... but that is all a lie, because I learned it a long time ago.
Did he predict it before the NWS informed him, or did he make an informed tweet after being informed by the NWS.... Yes, dates matter.

I was told by the weather guy last week it would rain today..... Can I tweet, it might rain today?
