And you know ^ how?

No big stink. The 1974 Family Education Rights and Privacy Act prevents schools from releasing grades without the student’s authorization. Schools are required to maintain student records for at least 5 years.

While it is very common for nominees and Presidents to release their tax returns, most don’t release their grades/ class ranking. Bush 2 was an exception.

I believe Obama, himself, wrote that he spent most of his years at Columbia walking the streets of Harlem and getting high. It was good enough to get him into Harvard Law School!!

Every Federal employee and prospective Federal employee needs to provide a high school and college transcripts.

Both Trump and Obama should have been required to disclose their college transcripts. So should have John McCain.

Medical exam, fitness to do the job. College Transcripts, and Financial disclosure of assets and liabilities....prior to running for President.

After all....it is a Federal job.

Why?

And what if a presidential candidate didn't go to college? Should they be barred from running for or assuming the office?

I'll stick with the requirements as outlined in the Constitution.

If I recall, Obama was very open about his use of drugs and alcohol, while a teenager.

Elected officials are not required to disclose transcripts.

7 Presidents did not attend college, including Geo Washington, Andrew Jackson and Abe Lincoln.

Most recently, former Wisconsin Governor and 2016 Republican candidate, Scott Walker did not graduate from school.

Hate to tell you, but there are a lot of people with money who are idiots out there. Trump heads up the list. There are a lot of things that money can not buy...…….intelligence, ethics, compassion, etc.

He would never have gotten in on his own merits.
And yet he's doing a better job than the last 4.

at one point trump had offered $5million specifically for obama's admission papers. a quick check of occidental's retention policy ( available online in PDF format ) shows they only retain those records for 5 years past when the student last attended. i think it's a safe bet that trump was aware of this fact when he made the offer.

Yes, pretty smart move by Trump.
