I can’t believe CNN and MSNBC spent two days on this as their “breaking news!”

It got way more coverage than the hurricane itself, Lol. Oh boi!

Yeah, and Trump’s tweet was sent a couple of days after this tweet, when the forecast had already been changed.

Fail.

Almost none of them had the storm going as far west as Alabama. But again, at no point did the official forecast call for any part of Alabama to be impacted. Either the tweet is from someone who is misrepresenting the data, or misrepresenting the forecast. The National Hurricane Center archives forecasts. Go see for yourself.

The official forecast never called for any Alabama impact. Period. And if Trump is getting his information from tweets instead of the NHC, that's concerning.

This is too funny. So now the Republicans think that the National Guard knows more about the weather than the National Weather Service? That is too rich and is a perfect illustration of how the Repubs hate science.

It's because Trump had to lie about something like this. He couldn't just admit he got something wrong, so he doubled-down and doctored a forecast map. It's just another sign of mental illness, which all things being equal, is absolutely frightening when we're talking about a US president. It seems like a sad, harmless joke until you begin digging down into the implications of it all.
