The economy is showing signs of slowing. Why do you think trump is throwing hissy fits about needing help from the fed?

The Trump economy is not much different than the Obama economy.

August unemployment is once again 3.7%.

Average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls increased 3.2 percent from July 2018 to July 2019.

Year-over-year employment-population ratio increased by 0.6% while wages increased 3.5%.

Better yet, it's an increase in the monthly employment-population ratio of 0.2%.

Not according to the CPS which shows a loss of 569,000 jobs.

The CES shows a gain of 4,000 jobs.

That's not a big deal, since you always lose jobs in August.

August is the worst month of every Administration.

It has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with August being the month that seasonal Summer hires end.

Today, the market is lower than it was 19 months ago.
