Hiring slowed in August as employers added 130,000 jobs, further stoking recession fears and strengthening the Federal Reserve’s argument for another cut in interest rates this month.
Further dimming the latest employment snapshot: Payroll gains for and June and July combined were revised down by a total 20,000.
OP perfect example of taking numbers out of context and pretending it represents an entire economy and portends pending economic doom.
Perhaps the recession spoken of relates to someone's hair line???
Its not good news in that Our Dear Leader's promised much faster job growth.
This thread isnt about Trump, Please go find one of the other thousand threads on this forum to do your whining about Trump. This thread is about the excellent jobs report that a record number of Americans are employed and we are still adding jobs even though we are under 4% UE.

As long as it's going up I think it's still going in the right direction. Also, with record low unemployment, there is going to be a diminishing return in added jobs because a lot of job openings aren't being filled. It's a lot better than 07/08 when we were shedding 250K jobs a month.
