Watch, you're going to get people claiming that because it was hotter in a couple places it means the entire globe was. When some place is stable or cooler they'll call it local weather though. ONLY when it's hotter someplace they call it global climate.

You are so right. And that is why people talk about global warming and not United States warming. But what is the point. We know for a fact that man made global warming is taking place. If a few neanderthals don't want to accept that, so be it. It's not worth arguing with them.

It is always good to belittle those who think differently than you.

I do agree we are in a period of global warming and I think some of it is because of humans.
What percentage is due to human activity and what can we do that would have any real effect aside from making us feel good?

That all depends on the "science". Edison was a great scientist, who pushed DC for a power grid. He was wrong. Scientists are wrong all the time.
