Try again.
This thread is also about the number of jobs added in August - which is inseparable from the record employment.

Yours is a distinction without a difference.

You do realize that with an increasing size of the work force that the US often sets new a new record for employment? Its just not a very unique situation.

Trump's economy is doing more for the lower middle class than any modern President. That's what rising wages does. The liberals would rather make people dependent on the government than have them earn more.

Default Isn't the Obama/Biden Recovery Great?

--------------
the number of people employed in the united states hit a record 157,878,000 in august, according to the employment report released today by the bureau of labor statistics.

That's an increase of 590,000 from the record 157,228,000 employed in july.

The unemployment rate held steady at 3.7 percent. for blacks, the unemployment rate dropped to a record low of 5.5 percent last month. And for hispanics, the unemployment rate was 4.2 percent in august, which ties the record low set earlier this year.

And yet the administration just prior to Our Dear Leader's admin made people less dependent on the government at a faster pace than Our Dear Leader. Curious.

Doubling the food stamp rolls is not making the people less dependent on government.

Seems like much of the new employment is based on indirect or direct government spending and consumer debt.

It would be preferable for more job growth based on tangible things like construction, manufacturing, transportation.

I think the fact that so much of the new employment is from health care, industry, individual and family services, government and finance is concerning.

More health care and family service jobs tend to be heavily-based on indirect government spending, increased government employment is from taxes or debt to make payroll.

The increases in finance likely mean more consumer debt.

Manufacturing, construction, trade and warehouse, leisure and hospitality have not been trending in the right direction lately.

Gah. STOP IT!
I loathe the orange narcissist in the white house.
I more loathe the idiots cheering for an economic downturn more. Untold suffering of a portion the lower 90% of the population who stand to lose their employment... and possibly everything they own.

People working is always better than not, but if 100% of people worked at McDonald's, would that be something to celebrate? High employment is not the same as good employment with good pay. Personal debt is high, wages in many cases are stagnant or increasing slowly, people are paying more for basic goods, farmers are hurting, etc. And it also doesn't negate that there are increasing signs of an upcoming economic downturn.
