The Wayback Machine had collected some archived copies of ThinkProgress for those who are curious to check their archives.

Don't need to. Back in the early 2000s, I used to have a political blog (when those were a huge thing), and saw enough of their bs for a lifetime. It's why I crack up that some of the younger lefties of today think they are saying anything new and interesting. Heard it all before - it's still a load of cow manure no matter how many years have gone by.

Do you honestly believe "Center for American progress" is economically progressive? Look at who runs that organization. Its a Wall Street think tank posing as something its not. On the right wing, the buzz word is "liberty" and all sorts of oligarch funded organizations use those labels. On the left, big money interests prefer to hijack other words.

ThinkProgress, a Top Progressive News Site, Has Shut Down

ThinkProgress, the influential news site that rose to prominence in the shadow of the Bush administration and helped define progressivism during the Obama years, is shutting down.

The outlet, which served as an editorially independent project of the Democratic Party think tank Center for American Progress, will stop current operations on Friday and be converted into a site where CAP scholars can post. Top officials at CAP had been searching for a buyer to take over ThinkProgress, which has run deficits for years, and according to sources there were potentially three serious buyers in the mix recently. But in a statement to staff, Navin Nayak, the executive director of the Center for American Progress Action Fund, said the site was ultimately unable to secure a patron.

Lose a lot of money and then fold the business. I'm sure many right-wingers will approve of this business model.

Did ThinkProgress also borrow a bunch of money from the banks and then refuse to pay it back?? That just make them smart.

I always noticed that this site was a favorite among some of the worst far-left, TDS-afflicted, CD troll posters. Good riddance.
