Soon. Be patient, it's only been 12 years.

First of all, you know this is a disingenuous argument. Unless you are stuck with a 6th grade education and never heard of the Southern Strategy.

Noticed you did not refute my points.

Recession ended early 2009. Your point?

I'm guessing the point is that the economy hasn't recovered when compared to the pre crash economy.

Recovery started in 2009.
Expansion started much much later.

You know all them Dixiecrat Southern Democrats? Well, they moved to the GOP. Like Trent Lott, Strom Thurmond, and Jesse Helms, to name a few.

Oh please. You posted in my thread where this was debunked. Did you forget, or are you just lying? You can't get away with this kind of revisionism any more in the era of internet and search.
Was there a 'Big Switch' of Southern white racists from Democrat to Republican?

Southern white people switched from being Democrat to being Republican, in massive numbers, during the latter half of the 20th century. For whatever reason. And were some of those people racists? Absolutely. And you can't deny that. Were some of them not racists? Most definitely. You can argue all day long about the reasons why people switched.

Of 200 Democrats who were Dixiecrats or voted against the 1964 Civil Rights Act, exactly 1 switched parties. So drop the plural 's' from your first sentence. If it's too late to edit, maybe you can get a mod to go back and change your post for you.
As far as I can find out, neither Jesse Helms or Trent Lott were ever Dixiecrats. They were too young. The Dixiecrats were a short-lived phenomenon. They were around only for the 1948 election cycle, after which virtually all members returned to the Democratic party. Jesse Helms was first elected to public office in 1973, 25 years after the Dixiecrats. Trent Lott was born in 1948, so would have been 7 years old during the Dixiecrat era.

Ok, Trump is as racist as most people. We all have it in us. Even though somebody will deny it til the day they die.

If you really believe in the party switch, YOU'RE part of the problem
