Trump has provided jobs for them so they are slaves to their jobs now instead of just receiving a check from welfare for plopping out babies...so he's a raaaaaaaaaaacist.

Trump is far from a racist. He is an opportunist if anything.

Not totally convinced Trump isn't a wee bit racist -- as are most people his age AND most people in his very small bubble.

Growing up white, rich and in New York -- meh -- you aren't exactly inclined to be big on diversity.

Not the smallest ever. Before the 1930s decade black UE was often enough similar or lower than white UE.
Vedder and Gallaway - Out of Work (numbers from 1930 Census, Unemployment-General Report, pp. 232-23)
RACIAL DIFFERENCES IN UNEMPLOYMENT RATES IN THE U.S. , 1890-1930
% Unemployment

Year White Nonwhite
1890 4.41 4.07
1900 6.47 7.57
1930 6.59 6.07

Black UE in the three South regions was between 2.7% and 4.5% The 6 other regions it was between 9% and 15%

Granted it's a shame that the jobs that came back are low paying and more people are on welfare than before the crash. Granted when you subsidize something you get more of it.

btw From 2007 to 2019 population increased ~9% while food stamp usage went from 27000 to 36000 a 33% increase.
The latest figures show food stamp usage went up 75000 from May to June.

But job well done. lol

Jeez, haven’t you guys been reading the posts of the liberals on CD?

If the economy is good, it’s because of Obama.

Trump is only responsible for the economy if it is bad.

Default Trump Democrats

Older Kennedy Democrats are seeing their party exit stage left. They feel abandoned because their party is run by radical progressives. Older Kennedy Democrats will always remain Democrats with one noticeable exception. They will vote like they did in the last election for Donald Trump, because they are left with no alternative. Yes, Democrats and Minorities got DJT elected in 2016 and will vote in far greater numbers for him in 2020. Think about this. If people voted along party lines, DJT or any Republican, could never win!! So don't criticize Democrats because we need the moderate ones, because at least for this election they are on our side!!! There are a lot more of them than you think, and they are embarrassed they voted for Obama. They help comprise the silent majority!!

You are correct, and it took the Party of Lincoln, the Republican Party, to defeat the party of slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, black codes, poll taxes, the KKK, and literacy tests, your Democratic Party.

Oh puhleez. Are you still trying so hard with this tired trope?

The parties of today are nothing like the parties' stances in the 1960s.

You know all them Dixiecrat Southern Democrats? Well, they moved to the GOP. Like Trent Lott, Strom Thurmond, and Jesse Helms, to name a few.
