Trump is terrible at being a racist. What kind of racist lifts an entire generation of minorities out of subservience and out of food stamps. Trump is giving racists a bad name.

Democrats need to keep blacks angry, scared, and victims.....they will find a way to
spin this negatively instead of celebrating the positive change in employment opportunities happening for blacks.

You mean the economic expansion that started in 2009 has helped black folks?

You'd have to be half brain dead to think Trump is responsible for any of this.

Name a specific 'black employment' policy that had this as its goal.

yeah -- we knowl

What's good for the country is good for us ALL.

Hispanic/Latino unemployment is also down. Matching it's lowest level.

Correct. Obama was still president in 2017.

I just finished reading Larry Kudlow's book about the JFK tax cuts. There's an interesting section about how Southern segregationist Democrats were an important part of the coalition that opposed the cuts.

JFK's main argument was that the cuts would bring economic growth. The Southern segregationists did not want growth, because it would mean increased opportunities for blacks.

Haters are going to continue hating right through 2024. Democrats feel that they own the black vote, and you can't really blame them considering that blacks vote D right around 90% in lockstep. Even though most black voters frown on homosexuality and abortion and hold to conservative morals in their private lives, they will still vote D based on race issues and the promise of free stuff. Hopefully the economy will make the thinking ones vote in their own best interests.
