But, yeah, almost no one should be eating 3,000 calories unless they are an athlete or roofer or whatever.
1500 calories is not enough for any non-midget adult. I'm 5'10 and 125 lbs and I eat over 3000 calories daily. And I'm not an athlete, just a weekend warrior who loves the outdoors.

He's right on some level. I think overall the moral fabric of the nation has taken a hit since we've turned into this "don't judge" society. I mean this within limits of course but yeah, being obese should have a bit of a stigma. How much, I don't know, but we definitely don't need this I'm "fat and beautiful and it doesn't matter" view that seems to be getting crammed down our throats.

Congrats on your use of circular-logic as an attempted deflection.

Yeah, I have to lose a some weight and I think it's silly how we're all supposed to dance around and not hurt people feelings. Someone calls me a fat boy I'd be like well, they might have a point. LOL.

I do also think in polite society we shouldn't go around calling people "fat boy" but we also shouldn't be mollycoddling people either.

We've turned in a nation of damn sissies anymore.

I was fat, but changed the amount of crap food that I used to eat, and started biking 45-60 miles twice a week. It didnít happen overnight, but took about six years. Itís possible with the right motivation.

If I was obese I don’t think I could be out in public. I don’t have body issues as is, but I have more pride than to allow myself to get to that point. Don’t workout. Just work and eat healthy.
