Why isn't there an option for best person for the job. I don't give a damn about race, gender, sexuality, religion just give me the one that has the best vision for America. Right now, it is anyone but Trump.

Unlike hardliners, I don't disqualify a candidate based upon their race or gender, nor do I vote for one based upon race or gender.

That said an overly religious candidate will not get my vote. I don't care what their religion is, I don't want it in the White House, if they are basing their decision making upon religious dogma.

I also won't vote for any candidate that has expressed racist views. That pretty much eliminates every candidate the dems are running as well as the right. I detest Limousine Liberals almost as much as I do self righteous bible bangers.

Not fear, cowboy, experience, and empirical evidence. Enough that a lot of us here were delighted when she wnet to the U.N., even if it meant McBastard would take her place. Once she was in New York, she answered to Trump and Trump alone, and they can't stand each other. We knew it would be just a matter of time before he would toss her out on the street in a barrel, and she would have nowhere to go. We were correct.

If you like her, that's your business. You can have my share of her, but be certain you remember to wear gloves if you ever get close enough to shake her hand. She bites, and she is venomous.

Unless you look at who beat the greatest army in the world at the time to gain our independence, wrote the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution and who CREATED THIS GREAT COUNTRY IT IS.

You must have failed U.S History, IF YOU EVER TOOK IT!
Thomas Jefferson was a Deist, not a Christian, as were several more of the Framers. It's an historical fact.

Look it up in your history book, or simply google it.

Obama clearly was not religious, and neither is Trump.

Jefferson was not a Christian as most people understand the term. He even wrote an "alternative" Bible. That would be considered blasphemy by most Christians.
As a Deist, Jefferson believed in a singular God, not in the divinity of Jesus.

A robot at this point has a higher chance of becoming president than any of those 3

And neither was clinton. He was TOLD to go church AFTER he lost an Arkansans election. So he went and sat in the front seat so the people could see him there.

Because that is all that matters to democrats, so they mistakenly believe that republicans think the same way they do.

For any job, we should pick people based on merit, not skin color, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. If it's and old, White guy, so be it.
