a simple hand held weed sprayer becomes a very effective flame thrower. I am really surprised no one has done that yet.

When I served in the Army for 4 years in the 1970s, I was trained on and kept proficiency with an M16 rifle. That was my only experience with using firearms, aside from a few times firing a .22 rifle at some targets with friends when I lived in Alabama. I have never owned a firearm in my 65 years, and don't feel a need to in order to make it through the next 2 or 3 decades, if I am lucky to live that long.

I've visited all 50 of the United States and lived in many large metro areas: San Francisco Bay Area, Orange County, Northern New Jersey just outside NYC. I've also lived in a small city in the southeast, Auburn, AL. I've lived in Colombia and Chile in South America. I lived in Germany in the 1970s and am currently living in Germany again. When you live in a variety of places, you learn to go with the flow, and don't get worked up about people or places that are different from your "home" environment. I've visited dozens of other countries, and not encountered a place where so many people were obsessed with firearms ownership as in the USA.

I don't fear most of my fellow humans. I have enough street sense to avoid problems. Many people who are obsessed with firearms have a massive fear and distrust of people that are not like themselves. I don't see danger lurking around every corner. Live and enjoy life, don't worry, you don't need a gun to get along with most of your fellow humans.

that's as far as it should go too. Don't want one, don't have one and don't meddle with others that do.

So, yeah, I should not own a gun for the best reason possible. I don't need it or want it.
And I need and want several. Isn’t freedom grand?

I have a “few” in my house. And not one has ever leapt out and started firing.

No reason I shouldn't have one. I just don't want or need one.

Can you think of any reasons, why you personally should not own a firearm?
Because I have way too many already?
