The campaign is genius because most people who wouldn't bother to do anything that helps the planet would just be doing something that makes them FEEL like they are helping.
So oil and gas companies make WOKE campaigns to make them easier to support for the masses.

I can agree with folks on the right that "woke" can be annoying, because most of the time, people are "fake woke".

I agree. All the oil companies do this. Check BP's logo. However, they are not alone. This now the darling trend of MOST corporations. All lies. All crap. Be honest. You sell or do stuff to MAKE MONEY. Nothing wrong with that. These Woke, PC, SJW lies, are just that.

I don't have a problem with that because the oil and coal companies need to start thinking of themselves as energy companies, rather than strictly delivering oil products. An energy transition is in the works, and the sooner they diversify their market space, the less incentive they have to hold it up.

Vid doesn't refute climate change. Just states how oil companies know it's real, but try to stop any action and then pretend to care later.

Congratulations, you're on the cusp of understanding the core reality of the problem.

In fact, you just explained the mindset of the signers of the Kyoto accords. While GW activists pilloried Bush etc. over it, the signers went on to violate the treaty. Let me be very kind and call those activists....morons.

Then you have all the developing countries that won't play ball.

So imagine that tomorrow, the US completely cut all CO2 emissions. Does that fix the problem?

We need a tech solution for clean energy, unfortunately there is one but it was demonized by the same environmentalists now screaming about global warming. Again, let me be very kind and call them....morons.

People with their hearts in the right place but their heads up their bottoms are just as bad and dangerous as Shell.
