You seem to be focusing on what will happen to Trump. The more important question is what will happen to America. I think the unfortunate answer to that question is that it will be back to business as usual. Trump is just a speed bump on our road to globalism, serfdom and mediocrity.
Anyone concerned about globalism, serfdom and mediocrity would be concerned about right-wing attacks on free public education, and the enormous tax breaks, (including lifting capital gains and inheritance taxes) which make the wealth-income gap ever greater. These things kill the American dream.
That's the future looking us in the face: as a permanent underclass.
Trump will do what all Presidents do, which is build a library. It will be filled with busts of himself and all of his favorite tweets, framed in gold. Of course all of his documents will be the comic book format that he requires. It will probably have a few busts of his best buddies - Putin, MBS and Kim. It will be built on Mar-a-Lago since Trump is not going to be too happy with New York after they indict and jail him for all of his corruption.
Other than that, Trump is going to go down in history as a minor footnote, the worst and most corrupt that America has ever elected. Just as Nixon is remembered for his partying words "You won't have ol' Dick to kick around any more", Trump will be remembered for "It's all a hoax".
We’ll have a border wall, low taxes, strong economy, peace, less troops stationed overseas, less regulation, better trade deals, China will be humbled, a conservative Supreme Court and district judges, etc.
I think the lawless president will hole up Scarface style, refuse to come out of the WH, load up on KFC and hamberders, and will not leave voluntarily, especially if there is an indictment and a divorce waiting for him.
He's already said he's not prepared to lose. Read into that what you like. Not a stable man.
Regardless if your for Trump or against Trump, the day Trump leaves office I think President Trump is in for a Rude awakening. His Twitter account will be canceled if not immediately, shortly after for terms of service volitions, he will no longer enjoy the latitude twitter extended him for being a world leader.
Next he will be investigated / arrested for his past crimes during his last four years in the White House. You can't openly attack the FBI and other government agencies and not expect them to retaliate in the future. Now if he had friends in congress, he would enjoy some protection from powerful political allies, but the reality he has few, if any friends. The republicans tolerate him because he's the President, when he's not the president anymore, he's toast. After all he hasn't exactly played nice with other politicians, he's used them as tools with threats and bullying to get what he wanted done and toss them aside like a child's toy he's no longer interested in.
So be it high treason or funneling government dollars to one of his many hotels for self enrichment, Trumps going to prison for something. After all $900 a night for a room is beyond outrageous, having travelled for the government, Per diem is at best $200 a night for a room in an expensive city.

I didn’t know stealing from others was how one accomplished “The American Dream”. I thought it was more about having the opportunity to do it on your own.
