Apparently the US intelligence community thinks he could be a threat. They have to treat Kid Snowflake with kid gloves, lol.

An American citizen. This isn't Russia where you are killed or jailed for speaking against an evil or incompetent leader.

Regardless of whether he has the authority or not, if he is working against the interests of the country and helping an enemy, he is a traitor. You can still be a traitor to your country even if you don't break a law.

He is both Stupid and a Traitor.
(That is if he ever had any loyalty at all to this country to begin with....I think his only loyalty at all is to himself.)

You missed the point.

The thread is not about the support of Russian spies.

It is about the President's actions that may have hindered the lives of Americans in Russia working as spies.

That whole should the USA have spies is another worthwhile debate...but that's not the issue here.

Or are you suggesting Trump's revealing of information was a way to get the spies to come back to the USA because this administration doesn't support spies in Russia.

Why wouldn't he just make them come home.

I don't believe Trump is a traitor -- well not on purpose.

I do think his naivety about foreign policies, the brutal nature of some of these dictators, etc.might put him in the position of putting American interests at risk.

But I don't think he means to put American interests at risks, he just doesn't think about that. Trump has simple plans, simple policies. He doesn't think of the complexities of plans and policies.

The US was forced to extract a top-secret source from Russia after President Donald Trump revealed classified information to two Russian officials in 2017, CNN reported on Monday.

A person directly involved with the discussions told the outlet the US was concerned that Trump and his administration routinely mishandled classified intelligence and that their actions could expose the covert source as a spy within the Russian government.

Trump stunned the national-security apparatus and intelligence community when it surfaced that in an Oval Office meeting in May 2017 he shared the information with Sergey Lavrov, Russia's foreign minister, and Sergey Kislyak, then Russia's ambassador to the US.

I am leaning for both.
Pretty much became uninterested when I saw it was a business insider article. I’m sure there is something missing from the story. BI, vox, cnn, yahoo, msnbc, etc are just talking heads for the left. They don’t even try to be balanced. Not a huge fan of Fox News but at least they have some left leaning hosts, guests and writers to provide “some” balance. How about reporters not be biased at all but just report the facts? It feels like too much to ask today.
