The US was forced to extract a top-secret source from Russia after President Donald Trump revealed classified information to two Russian officials in 2017, CNN reported on Monday.

A person directly involved with the discussions told the outlet the US was concerned that Trump and his administration routinely mishandled classified intelligence and that their actions could expose the covert source as a spy within the Russian government.

Trump stunned the national-security apparatus and intelligence community when it surfaced that in an Oval Office meeting in May 2017 he shared the information with Sergey Lavrov, Russia's foreign minister, and Sergey Kislyak, then Russia's ambassador to the US.

I am leaning for both.

The Russians loaning Trump the money to build his golf courses was the best investment they ever made.

Most people will probably take the viewpoint that it doesn’t matter. Trump hates gays, triggers “liberal snowflakes”, and has given the Christian Right unprecedented power over all our lives and in 2019, that’s the only thing people care about.

This is actually what took place covertly after Trump blabbed to the Russians in his office and told them the coast was clear because he fired Comey and gave them some intelligence from other countries. That was all the same day in 2017. But due to Trump's inability to keep his giant flapping mouth shut, a spy we had in Russia was extracted. They were afraid Trump would expose the spy due to his affinity for, and bromance with, Vlad.

Story just broke.

Umm..the President has the absolute AUTHORITY to release classified information as he sees fit. Who the hell are you to say otherwise?
