Enemies of the first amendment exist on both sides of the aisle, in the extremes.

The conservative side tends to prefer outright government censorship for “the children’s sake”.

The liberal side is more about repercussions, ruin your career and whole life for one slip up. Boycott everything associated with you. But at least they don’t get the government involved in this aspect.

There is no PC culture. There's just people who want to be publicly bigoted and hate that they get exposed for it. They're really just mad they can't call trans people "chicks with dix" and not get roasted on Twitter.
