WaPo throws pity party for Federal employees relocated from DC to Kansas City

This is Breaking news?

The Washington Post and ALL Leftist Media have been throwing a Pity Party since November 8, 2016. Only the Echo Chamber Low Info propel pay any attention to them at all.

When the CIA and New York Times both call you a Liar on the same day ... stick a fork on this Fake News Pity Party.

They would have to sell their houses and buy new homes in Kansas all funded by the government, then they would need to find replacements and expertise in Kansas or someone willing to move there. What was considered in the cost benefit for this move, was there a study. Your response is very simplistic to say the least. It sure looks like he just wanted to shake people out, same as the EPA and they will lose expertise.

Military families know and expect it. Tours are 2/3 years. Think - people have kids in schools- support group - Maybe fixed their homes - mtg etc. Anyone can move - normally it’s a planned event. How long do they have ? 2- one finds jobs that give them stability, they just getting yanked out. Maybe mom is old - kids in local college why be so unpathetic.

So, they'll need to live like everyone else, but with more paid holidays.

Cry me a river.

That’s fine- it won’t hurt them anymore or less - just shows who you are. Like a distaste for government employees. Nobody likes to be yanked out of what they consider their home. The lack empathy is sad to me.

Shocking to see republicans not showing any empathy. That never happens.

The government should cut costs.

This puts these employees closer to their "job" while saving taxpayers money.

It's logical.

Regardless of sexual orientation I have exactly zero sympathy for the problems of government “workers”.

I don’t have a problem with the move, just feel bad for the employees. Not just govt - all over. When DHL decided to leave the USA it tore up towns. It really hurt economically, the same will happen to these folks. It’s going to cost them a lot -to go or to stay.
