It's not the one child that is not vaccinated. It's the fact that 45% of the class may be unvaccinated. Let one child bring measles to school and nine out of ten of the unvaccinated kids will catch it.

Most here will agree with you that people have the right to control their own health choices and their own body. No one here is suggesting that someone else's will be imposed upon anyone else's body. I believe most of us agree with you on pro-choice!
I am not pro-choice with this issue -- not pro-choice without consequence. Vaccines are a community prevention. The people who are genuinely immuno-compromised should not be exposed to eradicated diseases because of some ignorant nincompoops.

That kind of stat is pretty darn rare though. Mainly seen in Waldorf schools. So if you fear measles, look up your schools stats and choose wisely.

If you believe the mantra of , “my body my choice” when it comes to abortion and not when it comes to vaccines then you’re not pro-choice, you’re pro-abortion.

MissTerri is never very good at giving any reasonable evidence for foundation of this irrational fear.

You said "everyone". Would that not include you?

No, it is not rare. That is why CA is getting rid of fake exemptions.

Sorry you’re struggling so hard to understand but my post was clear. People can choose.

Less then 1% of CA students have medical exemptions. That’s rare.

Abortion is irrelevant to the thread.

You may still choose not to vaccinate. Just make alternative arrangements for your child's education.

There is sooooo no parallel between vaccination and abortion on any level. That is about the laziest logic attempt ever. And you have No Idea what my view on being pro-choice is based on.
