Is this satire? This is his third national security advisor. Good people won't stay so he had to hire Bolton.

John Bolton just tweeted he asked Trump if he should resign last night. Trump said they would talk about it today -- then Trump tweeted he fired him.

From reading twitter responses I gather Trump fans didn't like Bolton, which I find curious. Why would Trump hire someone that all the base really didn't care for and it seems EVERYONE knew Bolton didn't have the same philosophy as Trump.
Because he saw him on Fox news.

Trump sure throws a lot of the alleged "Best" people away.
I think there is broad bipartisan agreement that Bolton was never the "best" to begin with. The real question is why Trump ever thought he was.

Trump fires John Bolton as national security adviser
"I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House," Trump tweeted.

Can't say that bothers me at all.

One less bell to answer, one less egg to fry....

Pompeo made a good point in the press briefing today.. It doesn't matter who comes and goes, Trump's policies stay the same.

That maybe the case, but you don't have to meet with them on US soil. They don't deserve to set foot in this country, or to sit face to face with a sitting president.

He doesn't have policies or a plan, he just wants a photo OP and is desperate for some kind of win.

I didn't like Bolton, he was a hawk as is Pompeo to a lesser extent but Bolton was smart.

The quick turn arounds really are not good for us - like Bolton or not - makes everyone unstable. Every new person - first thought - how long with they last ? Hard to command when standing in quicksand. Important Security issues are at stake. This guy ripping the guts out of our system and some think it’s draining the swamp, but he has become “the Thing” tearing up everything in sight good or bad.
