I know why he was hired, because Trump didn't want America to start unnecessary wars.
Trump needed Bolton there, to present the argument FOR war.
You can only avoid war if you understand both sides of the argument.

That is the way business is done.
Yes so many successful companies have extremely high turnover

Even the liberal propaganda producing press will find a way to bash Trump for this even though they despise Bolton!

lol I thought you were talking about Bolton at first.

Anyways I don't hate either of them. Bolton at least has more conviction in Imperialism that the typical elite.

And that's what should concern you. Trump has consistently hired people that are known not to have the same policy positions or that aren't competent or have the skills for the job (Bolton had the skills he just was philosophically not aligned at all).

So for me -- the KEY role of the President is to hire and appoint the BEST people to carry through the mandate as set out by the President and his party.

It just seems counter intuitive to hire someone who is at the opposite side of the philosophical spectrum.

Boggles the mind.

Thread # 356,229 that quickly turns into Orange Man Bad.

The left attacked Trump for hiring Bolton
The left attacked Bolton as a horrible guy who needed to go
The left attacks Trump for firing Bolton

Right, Con Don, the great businessman. I seem to recall that his "business" strategy was to declare bankruptcy and walk away. The way he's run up the deficit, I wouldn't be surprised if that's his plan for the government.

Bolton doesn't have a solution for anything that doesn't involve bombing some country.

Awesome. You don't get any more deep into the swamp than Bolton. What was Trump even thinking?

Not for the long term of America and global stability.
