I was in the gas station today and I saw "edible cookie dough" in little containers. At first, I was like, what? The raw egg thing? Who follows that rule? Then I remembered this thread.

Eating healthy does wonders for your body and healthcare costs would come down. That doesn't mean we should tell people how to eat though. I just think people should be more aware of what they are putting in their body.

TownHall: Harris thinks "the government should force them into other dietary habits."

This is a complete lie, a total fabrication. She said she was in favor of changing the government's recommended food pyramid, which are voluntary guidelines. There is no forcing anybody from eating what they want.

If anybody should go on a diet, it's right wingers and Trump supporters. They swallow too much propaganda.

Do you actually think about what you're advocating? Sure, for some going vegan may be better, but you are advocating for letting the .gov tell you what you can or cannot eat.

Well, she said a tad more than that...

"But, I'll also say this; the balance we have to strike here, frankly,
is about what government can and should do around creating incentives,
and then banning certain behaviors."

You can track the rise in obesity along with the unveiling of the gov's carb laden "food pyramid". Coincidence?
Take advice (of any nature) from know nothing politicians and their bureaucratic functionaries at your own peril.
