So, my question is, what did Trump threaten Graham with ? My suspicions are that he had evidence that Graham has committed some crime or some immoral act and basically told him if he didn't knock off the negativity, he would expose him. I have always felt Graham was not what he seemed to be, and Trump laid it out there that he was going to spill the beans on him if he didn't change his tune.

Something caused this, and it certainly was not the great job Trump has done.
Same deal with Rick Perry, Ted Cruz, Rubio, etc.

( Not so much with Jeb Bush. Then again, Jeb retired from politics.

They are doing what politicians of all stripes do.

It’s not personal.

Just more false prejections and what does, if, maybe, etc., a waste of time.

I've wondered the same thing about Graham. Maybe McCain was an anchor and now he's just drifting without a compass.

It has occurred to me, though, that maybe Graham is extremely ambitious. Smart guys figure out early on that Trump can be manipulated pretty easily if you flatter him, so maybe Graham decided to cash in on that and use Trump for getting whatever it is he wants.

Oh good grief no.

Trump loves himself and Graham loves himself too.

Graham flip flops more than a beach sandal on a hot summer's day.

Oh
I bet it is
Remember that Trump had the resources of the National Enquirer in his pocket
I imagine they found some story about Graham w/Russian NRA money or with a sexually inappropriate partner

Those are the only two things I can think that would make Graham do such abrupt about face
Sex or money

But also remember John McCain was alive when Graham made those denunciations
After McCain died, Graham was more pro-Trump than beforeó
McCain was his backstopóhis moral compass apparently...
Now he is just a weathervane...

Graham believes Trump will be re-elected, therefore it is politically expedient for him to go along with Trump, and be publicly supportive. I have no doubts that he hates him privately as Graham is part of the Republican Establishment in which Trump is often at odds. He could be more like Romney, but what would that get him in the next Trump Admin?

Anyone still using O'Donnell's spin as somehow being factual is wildly disconnected from reality.

I agree with this. If Trump had a D the Pubs would hate the guy.

He has been the least Republican-like Republican ever. He is hated equally by both sides of the establishment class.
