I think the health care issues will slide back the way they were before the ACA. People who cannot afford insurance will not get it and will use the ER as their doctor, as those with insurance will pay for them.
The admin has dismantled part of the law, which basically renders the whole thing useless. We have no health insurance policy now, and I assume the lobbyists are in charge.
One can only assume that people who refuse to get insurance are going to end up using the ER as their physician. It is sad. This admin wanted to take us backwards and they have.
I own too much stuff and have too much money to leave a ER paying the bill.
Our current health care model is pay per service, i.e. whatever services the doctor performs he is paid for (as long as the service is on the insurance formulary).
This leads to unnecessary procedures in many cases, and its one of the reasons we spend so much on health care.
I've had to turn down at least 2 unnecessary surgeries that were recommended to me.

I have always been without HC. Last time i saw a doc was 1990. Morons never got a dime from me with that dumb fine.
They never got a penalty Dime from us either. We were advised by our CPA just to leave the question blank on our returns (as to if we had healthcare coverage yes, or no).
We have coverage again since the laws have changed to allow temp policies of upto 2 years. Those rates are similar to what we were paying pre-"nonACA". We have catastrophic coverage, and use our HSA to fill in the amount upto where the cat coverage kicks in. This is the way its done in many other Country's.
We had coverage for our entire lives until the ACA scam came along. Then, Aetna booted us saying "our policy failed to conform to ACA", so we self-insured using our sizeable HSA's, and other assets. We went bare for 3 years until Trump started undoing ACA. Thanks to Trump, we have insurance coverage again, which is exactly the same coverage we had pre-ACA except this is a "temporary" policy lasting 2 years. We have to renew each 2 years...until Trump undoes that too.
Obama had a more negative influence on our lives than ANY other President, and it's not even close. I doubt we will ever vote for any Democrat ever again. There are no more Kennedy Democrats any more. They are all way too far Left for our liking.
So, now people aren't forced to buy an insurance policy with deductibles they could never afford to pay.
