of course he is suing the DOJ...he wants his retirement...but he screwed up..and the IG (horowitz) found him in wrong doing...Horowitz was hired in the DOJ by Clinton, and appointed as IG (of the DOJ) by Obama in 2012
so how are you going to say the administration (meaning trumps) was wrong, when he (Horowitz) is an Obama appointee
Well the president was directly involved pressuring the FBI, certainly it was their decision but foring a few days before his retirement looks suspicious. Trumps comments about McCabe and his wife wont help the governments case any.
Anybody with half a brain knows Trump was behind it. Nobody in the DOJ, Congress, SCOTUS does anything without Trump's behest. Not how it should be, but how it is.
Since he is a complete obstructionist AND the president, that wasn't happening. Collusion is not a crime, it's a behavior that isn't illegal no matter what the radical right's talking points lead you to believe. It's for when he is out of office, maybe for paying off porn stars, money laundering or working for the benefit of Putin/Russia.

He was fired out of spite with a matter of hours before his retirement was vested. His wife had run for office in Virginia as a Democrat. He was fired on Trumped-up charges as an act of political vengeance.
McCabe has a $500k gofundme account for his legal defense, any DC area jury would be reluctant to return a guilty verdict, and even if he was found guilty, he won't get any jail time.
I think it's safe to say McCabe won't likely take a plea deal.
There is no if. Prosecutors can double, triple and quadruple dip into the Grand Jury process.
All it takes in a simple majority, of the 25 jurist. Not unanimous. It is not hard for an attorney to convince 12 people there must be a trial to get to the bottom of it.
Remember the Grand Jury just sees one side. They can indict a Ham Sandwich and you are not much of an attorney if you cannot convince 12 people that more needs to be heard.
