IMO I am just trying to suggest there seems to be a big communication gap between certain special needs groups and the general public, thus they most resort to either animalization, euthanization, over-discipline, etc
So you want to kill disabled people?
Be careful. There's no real way to limit who qualifies as "disabled," and I wouldn't bet on my chances if I were you after this post.....

No, the moderator's post is only confusing matters more.
How do YOU feel about special needs groups? Because I'm truly confused on whether you're saying they need to be euthanized or that you think OTHER PEOPLE are saying they should be euthanized and that is wrong. Which is it? Are you AGAINST special needs people or FOR them? If you could just clarify that, then I think I can start to understand what you're saying.

One thing that I think is happening is if someone with special needs commits a crime, then their specific category of disability is vilified. That only makes matters worse because then you are lumping everyone in together and not looking at each specific individual. People equate that particular disability with criminality, which further alienates those people and makes them more likely to HIDE their disability or try to disassociate from it.
It's the same as schools mainstreaming kids that shouldn't be mainstreamed. You are. in a sense, telling them to HIDE their disability. To "pretend". and to force others to "pretend". It's wrong. They need HELP, not SHAME, not delusion. They need to be given the tools to succeed. Instead of just more OBSTACLES that cause them to fail.
OP, can you tell us WHO is saying that special needs people should be euthanized or taken out?
I get it now that you don't want that, but who the hell is saying that?
