You certainly don't lose weight voting in either direction.

. You go into a restaurant and its pitiful how many people in there are fat. If you're watching your weight, it's a guilt trip to go there.

California, during my lifetime (and I graduated from high school in the 70s), has always sold wine in grocery and convenience stores (and I think drug stores) and California ranks fifth lowest in obesity. Oklahoma has the tenth highest rate.

not so very long ago you were crying incessantly because OK supposedly had such backwards liquor laws.

now you’re complaining that they changed these laws

Shame conservatives won't take responsibility for their health.
I guess some do. Recently, Planet Fitness opened in my town and it looks busy, judging by the many cars in the parking lot.

LOL, point faile. Getting rid of 3.2% made made you drink more of it to get drunk and put on weight. Good riddance of it and good for Republicans for helping to get rid of it. Far from often enough, but Republicans every once in a while do something right for government.

Nobody wanted the food. The key is balance, and portion control. Michelle didn't practice any of what she preached. Total hypocrite.

Too many excuses. People shovel too much food into their mouths and don't move enough, that is really what it comes down to. You don't have to eat until you are full. You don't have to snack all day or suck on a ten dollar 900 calorie "coffee" with a pretentious name.

Even in the dusty food deserts there are options. A mushy banana, milk and ice makes an excellent smoothie. Tuna fish lasts a long time in that can in your pantry. And green beans are fine from a can or frozen in a bag. No one says never eat a cookie - a cookie, not the whole box, not half the box, not five - one cookie. No one who is obese thinks like this. And enablers spread a lot of blame and excuses.

Yep, it's a personal choice to eat healthy and exercise.

what? talk about a 'point faile', whatever that is
getting rid of 3.2 means you will have to drink less to get drunk, therefore less weight gets put on.

In 1981 Charleston WV was in a helluva lot better shape economically than it is now. Do not think for a second that that is also part of this puzzle with MANY pieces.

Also IIRC they changed the definition of obese about 1990.
