Criminal behavior is criminal behavior regardless of who does it. And the last I checked, alot of Black neighborhoods aren't diverse, and alot of Black people living in those areas have been victimized by crime, over and over. Want to blame that on diversity?
Better yet, I remember with some ambivalence my adolescence. I lived in a neighborhood that was about 90% White. I got shot with a paintball gun, was nearly thrown off my bicycle, and a few kids threw rocks at me. All of those incidents took place at the hands of White kids. Want to blame diversity on that?
I'm not going to watch it. I'm pretty sure it's the one the news played a few days ago that caused my conservative-leaning husband to fly into a rage and start screaming when I was trying to take a bath after a 12 hour day at work. I told him he was being played by the news trying to get him all wooped up against liberals. He looks like the victim so he identified with the victim. Criminals beat up innocent people every day. It's not enough to only get outraged when the victim looks like you.
Your comment doesn't say much about your husband's character. A normal person would be outraged regardless of what the victim looks like.
As for you, 47 robberies of cellphones in three weeks by a crime ring is not a typical 'criminal beating innocent people.' It's certainly possible the crime ring includes whites, Asians, Hispanics, and some victims were black. We don't know from the article. To find out I'd probably have to search for websites I don't go to.
If my family was in the area, this wouldn't be happening.
Yeah right, tough guy
