I'm guessing this person has never really been sexually assaulted. Because if she had, she wouldn't be comparing this to an actual rape. It's not even in the same ballpark. I would find the man's behavior heinous but it's not rape.

My thoughts: yes leading people on for sex is cruel. But criminalizing it is not something I will get behind. Consent is still given even if under false pretenses. Sex is not and should not be a money back or emotions back guarantee. It is a judgement call and punishing someone because you made a poor judgement call is not cool. It is also impossible to measure a level of emotion from an outside perspective on how much they like someone. The focus on fighting sexual assault should be on people who are having things done to them completely against their will.

What say y’all?
Guys lie to women to get them to have sex with them. Welcome to life

Men use love to get sex and women use sex to get love. This is nothing new.

Old news! At least for Sweden. In Sweden, leading a woman on, or inviting her to dinner for the purpose of seducing her into sex, is a crime. It translates from Swedish as "constructive rape". Eek! No wonder Red Pillers hate that country and call it a "feminist wasteland". I actually agree with them on this.

I absolutely will not travel there for as long as I live. Or if I must travel there for business, I'll limit my communication with local women to "hej" (hello) and "adjö" (goodbye). It makes America look male-friendly in comparison, even with feminism in full force.

We are already headed that direction whether anyone wants it or not.

This. It would go nowhere.

So the guy doesn’t get to change his mind after sex? What will the parameters of this look like?

After having sex with a woman, you must then continue to see her and act like you like her, whether you do or not, for the next 30 days before you will be considered to not have engaged in criminal activity.

No, it doesn't. Swedish legislation, passed last year, broadened the definition of rape so that actions formerly considered sexual assault would now fit the rape designation. It isn't about getting a free dinner and not putting out. It's about CONSENT.

The law states that sex without consent is rape, even when there are no threats or force involved. Previously, the onus was on the victim to prove that there was violence or exploitation in order to be considered rape. All that needs to be established, now, is that no consent was given. And there is nothing wrong with that. The UK, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, and Cyprus already had the same law in place. It's not feminist, it's humane. Don't do things to other people that they didn't consent to. Period. And don't get all pissy about laws that say you can't.

Additionally, it seems highly unlikely that you will be in a scenario where the women of Sweden are chasing you down.

The women of Sweden thank you for this decision, and would also like you to quit making up stories.
