apparently you support false accusation given that's all we've ever seen against this guy. what would you know about great ethics and morals?

All they had to do is seem reasonable in the face of Trump’s craziness, but I guess they thought Trump would appear reasonable and legitimate if they did that.

They chased the Russian collusion angle when it was so unbelievable to many. We all knew if there was truly collusion they wouldn’t have needed years of investigation since they were listening in on the Trump campaign for months without their knowledge. They would have already had the evidence when they announced it.

Then they went freaking nuts over Stormy Daniels, some even telling me knowing the intimate details of that sexual encounter was a matter of being informed and a national security issue. Why would knowing the gory details matter one bit, and why would anyone want to know the gory details of someone they hate as much as they do Donald Trump? It was just weird.

And through it all they acted like every utterance of Trump meant he was insane and/or racist. They even went on for days about him getting two scoops of ice cream while everyone else got one. Clearly the media enjoys the sensationalist headlines, and Trump has been good for their ratings. But they’re forcing normal people to just ignore everything they say and some even switching sides.

Now they’re pushing the Democratic candidates to agree with positions that are wholly disqualifying in a general election. I think the strategy is to drive up voter turnout among the woke left that seems a lot bigger than it is. And all they really had to do was sit back and let Trump mess up all on his own. But they are actually scary in their reactions, which makes me never want to see them in power again. Things like the insane and economy-destroying Green New Deal or Bernie Sanders threatening to criminally prosecute oil company executives and saying we need to fund abortions in third world countries to control population should be utterly disqualifying, but the media doesn’t call them out for it.

I will never vote for another Democrat until they start acting reasonable again, which doesn’t seem like any time soon.
Agreed with all of this. I used to vote D every time but now they're giving me no real reason to anymore other than "Trump is bad" or something.

The Supreme Court, like every other job, title, position, etc in this land should be governed by the 1st Rule of Law - innocent until PROVEN guilty.

Brett Kavanaugh has never been formally charged with, and thus never proven to be guilty of a crime in his entire life. False, unproven accusations with zero credibility of both accuser and accusation have been leveled at him, but no corroboration or substantiation has come from any, and every single one has been categorically defeated and dismissed.

All people of power/fame/celebrity become the targets of the unfounded, false accusation, and our 1st Rule of Law should and mostly does protect them from being destroyed personally and professionally simply because someone else doesn't like them and feels like libeling/slandering them.

Kavanaugh didn't "dodge" anything, except being the second person to be "Borked" by the Democrats because of their fear of non-activist, non-liberal, non-"puppets of the DNC" being on the SCOTUS. Remarkably, the nominee, the President and the Republican majority in the Senate actually stuck to the principles of law in this country and didn't let gutter sniping, gaslighting, muck raking and swamp politics derail a formal process of evaluating a judicial appointment on the nominee's judicial record and acumen.

When Amy Coney Barrett is nominated to replace RBG, Kavanaugh's hearings will look like sober statesmanship compared to what awaits an orthodox Catholic and member of a pretty old school subgroup within the Catholic orthodoxy, woman or not. Hopefully her faith, family and friends will give her the strength for what is headed her way, which every indication points to being vile on a scale we as a nation are unfamiliar with.

I wonder what "bullet" you'll say she dodged should be confirmed someday.

Kavanaugh isn't going anywhere.

The dems are insane.

All they need are some falsely generated, unsubstantiated rumors, and it's off to the hanging tree, with any person whose politics or philosophy on life they disagree with.

Yup, the same party that was hanging people they didn't like. Somethings never change, they have selected different enemies, but it's the same Democratic Party of old.

The Democratic Party has always been the refuge for the haters. People know that, that party, is the place to go if you want the government to punish, harm, disenfranchise, discriminate and get even with the people you hate

This descent into madness and then tyranny was foretold long ago:

The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just round the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power.

G. Orwell — Nineteen Eighty Four

The old Democratic Party, which created the KKK, hated Catholic, oh, and Jews too for that matter. Looking at the modern day Dems, somethings never change, do they?

California this week.......Trump campaign war chest.......added $15 million in a single state in less than 24 hours. By comparison, Kamala Harris raised $11.8 million nationwide during the entire second quarter of 2019
